Jesus, the Judge: Are You Prepared? Special Service: Rosh Hashanah

Updated: Oct 1, 2023

Last week, we challenged you to explore a relationship with Jesus Christ. What does it mean to know God and to be known by God? This is the most important relationship you will ever establish. How does your life change when you learn to recognize that small still voice?

This morning, I want to thank everyone that made it to service. We took a deep dive into what it will look like when Christ returns not as a Savior but as a righteous Judge. We examined the Ten Plagues of Egypt and paralleled it to the 10 Egyptian gods and goddesses that were being punished by the Lord.

The challenge for this week is to prepared your soul for judgment after death. What a timely week of Rosh Hashanah and the working of the slicha!

As we move through Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur, we ask all we know to forgive us for any offenses both known and unknown, and we forgive those that have offended us both known and unknown. Happy New Year (5784), my brothers and sisters in Christ, in Adonai, in Elohim.

L’Shana Tova!
