Two Witnesses of Revelation: Will You Be Prepared to See the TRUTH?

Today we took a deep dive into Revelation Chapter 11. It is so important to teach this chapter because the entire world WILL BE DECEIVED. Movies and books have been conditioning us for years to believe the prophesized TWO WITNESSES will be the bad guys. But they absolutely are not! If you haven't read Revelation 11, I suggest you do so today!

So what exactly does it say about the two witnesses. First it says that the Lord will give these witnesses POWER for 1260 days! They will be dress in sackcloth. Normally, that is a sign of mourning. They are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before God on this earth. If any man tries to harm them, fire come out of their mouths and consume their enemies.

As the chapter proceeds, we start to have clues revealed to us about who exactly these witnesses are. Which famous Bible prophet from the Old Testament was able to withhold rain. Elijah!

Remember how he withheld the rain and it wasn't until his standoff with the 450 prophets of Baal that it rained again. At this standoff, the prophets of Baal were unable to make fire be called down from their god. Then Elijah, after dousing his sacrifice with water, 12 barrels of water, called out to the Lord. He answered and shot down a ball of fire that burned so hot that all of the water was licked up and the sacrifice and the altar burnt away. He gathered the prophets and slew them all. Then a cloud the size of a man's hand was seen in the distance. Elijah told Ahab to leave now or the storm will be so strong he will be unable to get home. Shortly thereafter the storm raged.

What else does the Bible say these witnesses will be able to do? They will be able to turn water to blood and plagued the earth! Who do we know from the Old Testament that plagued the earth? Moses! Could that be why in Jude 9 Michael and Satan dispute over Moses' body? God unleashed 10 Plagues upon Egypt through Moses. 10 is the number of completion, and each time the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, He plagued him again publicly mocking an Egyptian god. With ten plagues, Egypt was COMPLETELY plagued.

Now the two witness will possess these powers and fire that comes out of their mouth. There will walk the earth with the ability to engage the plagues at their will. They will continue to do this until they finish their testimony, 1260 days.

Now think about how Hollywood has prepared you! Think of Godzilla and Alien Invasions. You will be scared, terrified even, and expect them to call in the Army, the Marines, the Navy, and some secret branch that hasn't been publicly utilized until now. If the Lord didn't leave His instruction manual (The Bible) with this story detailed, you and the whole world would say that these two witnesses are the bad guys!

The DECEPTION! Then a false hero will emerge. It is the beast from the bottomless pit. He will be loosed and make war with them. He will kill them. Their bodies will rot in the streets. No one will bury them. This will take place where Jesus was crucified, Golgotha. This is a spiritual Egypt, a spiritual Sodom. The entire world will rejoice! For three and a half days, these bodies will lay out and rot. The people of the world will celebrate, and exchange gifts even! They will champion the beast from the pit. But they have it all wrong! The two rotting corpses are Team JESUS, and this victorious beast is Team HELL. Then after three and a half days, the Spirit of Life will come upon the witnesses. And though they are rotting and stinking, they will come to life. The world will be terrified. But why? The entire story is laid out in advance in the BIBLE. Then a voice will call down from Heaven to them, and say come up here! And just like that, they will ascend on a cloud.

A great earthquake will affect the city that same hour. Just like it did thousands of years ago when Christ gave up the Ghost in that very spot. With this earthquake, a tenth of the city will fall. 7000 men will be slain. But those that were left behind, those that survived, those that are terribly frightened, will finally fall on their faces and worship the one true God!

God forbid we are here to experience this. But the only ones that have to fear the Second Coming and the End Times are the Lost. But if you read this, and you are there when the time comes, DO NOT BE DECEIVED. The Two Witnesses are the good guys. The Lord himself has sent them. And the purported hero? He is the beast himself.

Read your Bible. Store the Words of the Lord in your heart. He left you a treasure map to find Him. He prepared you. He warned you. He died for you. He will equip you. Repent. Have faith. Cling to the Lord of Hosts. He will fight your battles! Do not fear evil, but tread it under your feet. Jesus Christ defeated Ha-satan at the foot of the Cross. Prepare for all evil to be locked away forever. Evil will be judged accordingly and separated from the Lord God.

Jesus loves you! To the bounds that you cannot conceive. Literally to hell and back. Through torture and death. But He doesn't stop there. He continues to CHAMPION over evil forever. If you do one thing right in your life, make it be to choose TEAM JESUS! Because Jesus chose you too!
